Our school in Locorotondo/Italy
hosted a workshop promoted by the European Commission as part of the “Farmers of the Future – Best Practices” project, which focuses on improving training for young farmers. 👩🏫 The initiative involved a group of teachers and students from classes 5A and 5D at our Locorotondo campus, who shared ideas and valuable insights into what the future of agriculture might look like. 🌾 Topics ranged from the increasingly central role of innovative technologies to the sector’s primary challenges: labor shortages, high production costs, low profit margins for agricultural products, and climate change. 💡 It was a significant opportunity for discussion, giving our students a voice and allowing for reflection on the skills and innovations needed to foster a more sustainable and competitive agricultural sector.
