EUROPEA has always been there to support student competitions in Green VET, and 2015 promises to be an exceptional year as far as such events are concerned. During the last General Assembly in Italy (October 2014) members decided to provide help for three competitions:
- Wine Competition in Austria (spring)
- Forestry Competition in Estonia (spring)
- AGROLYMPICS in Luxembourg (autumn)

Traditionally our students do very well at the wine tasting and cattle judgement organised during the SIA Paris Exhibition. Managed and supported by the Agricultural Ministry of France this great event takes place in February every year. Click to the official website for details.
Besides, this year Goupe de Bruges (Independent think tank on European agriculture and rural development, BE) has launched an e-learning platform with an online game called “Can EU CAP it ?”, which is already open and ready to take applicants. Check the rules and make your students enter.
However, probably the most peculiar event of 2015 would still be the very first AGROLYMPICS created by the enthusiastic team of EUROPEA-Luxembourg with a great number of professional disciplines and a lots of novelties. Please note that despite early days the pre-registration at TeamEngine is on by now to enable the hosts to take care of everything.
