International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8th. On this day, women’s rights, equality, and the achievements of the women’s movement are highlighted worldwide.
The pandemic shows us more clearly than ever how much women contribute to society. It is important not to lose sight of these rights, but to have the courage to renegotiate them again and again.
What challenges women at the university face, how women have been doing in recent months, and how women motivate themselves remain important questions. Based on an initiative by female students and members of the working group for equal opportunities of the University College for Agrarian and Environmental Pedagogy, nine women were interviewed about this. Their experiences are featured here.
