This autumn students and teachers from 10 different schools in Norway have been invited by Naturbruksskolenes Forening/EUROPEA Norway and Landbrukets Økoløft to visit and learn to know all together 9 different biological farms. We picked farms situated in different parts of Norway (Sogn, Vestfold, Østfold and Mjøsa). The farms covered a lot of different productions, like dairy production, chicken, black currant, apples and berries, potatoes, carrots, wheat, and community supported agriculture.
Besides learning about the different farms and productions, the students and teachers learned to know students from other schools, and the participating teachers strengthen network with peers from neighbour schools. All in all, both students, teachers and farmers were very happy with, and learned a lot from these visits. We will definitely do it again 😊
