AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES AT CFMR OF MORALEJA – CÁCERES

In this field of traineeship, our students learn about different agricultural managements carried out in the farms of this region, such as forage farming, horticulture, greenhouse farming, olive grove, vineyard, fruit trees, etc.

They learn: 

  • Crop manteinance
  • Ploughing
  • Fertilization
  • Irrigation
  • Integrated control of pests
  • Harvesting
  • Processing
  • Commercialisation
These students learn about using “Delta” traps with sexual pheromones for capturing males of carpocapsa. This student is covering the fertilizer with disc harrow before the sowing of a forage farming 
Sowing of cereals and fodder with seeder, regulating and calibrating the sowing dose, as well as the depth according to the degree of soil moisture. Cultural practices on vegetation such as grafts, pruning, etc. In the picture, a student is making a cut of renovation in plum trees.
Harvesting, processing (in some cases) and commercialization are the final parts of the whole productive learning process. In the picture, students during the grape harvest.
