Every year, the students of our school visit one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in our region, the Agromash Expo in Budapest. We did the same thing this year, on January 26. We set off by bus from Bors with a nice mixed group.
Our school, the “Tamási Áron” Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School, has been preparing young generations for the agricultural profession since 2004. Later, our activities expanded into another specialization namely electronics. Then we also introduced adult education, so education currently takes place at several levels simultaneously from kindergarten to high school, but we plan to further expand our range of activities with post-secondary education as well.
In addition to the students from the agriculture major, a good number of our students specializing in electronics also participated in this trip. In addition to this, there were students from adult education also and, to our great delight, 5th-8th graders who also decided to join us. We saw many professional novelties and innovative digital solutions. We were able to observe how machines with a huge working width are at the service of precision farming. Getting to know the input materials and tools in practice was also useful for the students. We were enriched by lots of experiences, we had a good time, thus it was a meaningful and substantial study trip.
Agromash Expo, we will come next year too!
