From February 18th to 26th, a delegation comprising 10 individuals from four different Vocational Education Training organizations in Denmark (Green Academy, ZBC, CELF and Aarhus Business College) along with representatives from the Danish Ministry of Education, go aboard on a journey to the United States.
Their mission: to visit various Community Colleges and participate in the CCID (Community Colleges for International Development) conference.
The host Community Colleges provided a fantastic program for the Danish delegation, showcasing their commitment to collaboration. Both parties expressed keen interest in future partnerships, emphasizing joint research, student exchanges, and collaborative projects. The visit highlighted a mutual enthusiasm for deepening ties between Danish Vocational Education Training organizations and U.S. Community Colleges.
Throughout the conference, the Danish delegation showcased their respective colleges and fostered discussions on potential collaborations. Building upon initiatives such as the Virtual Exchange program initiated several years prior, many delegates discussed ongoing exchanges of students and teachers, as well as educational study visits.
The visit not only served as an opportunity for knowledge exchange but also emphasized the importance of international partnerships in shaping modern education. For those interested in delving deeper into the CCID and its endeavors, further information can be found on their website.
