The kick off meeting of CAROUSEL 2.0 has been held recently in Riga – Latvia.
Carousel 2.0 is an Erasmus+ KA2 project lead by Wellantcollege – The Netherlands, whose main purpose is the implementation of EU VET tools.
Carousel 2.0 is based in the cooperation and innovation for Good Practices, in which 8 partners from 7 different countries will use the outcomes of ALIE, ALIVE and ANGIE 2.0 in order to professionalize the tools designed in the former projects. Each partner will create their own ECVET unit (level 3 – 4 of EQF) relevant to their specific sector and area. Students from the other countries will have an internship of 3 or 4 weeks to acquire the learning outcomes of one or more of these units, which will be recognized as part of their curricula for getting their diplomas.
The colleges and schools involved are all partners in the EUROPEA International network. They are:

In this meeting, partners introduced themselves their institutions and the teaching expertise which they can offer to the students of the other partner schools. Furthermore during the meeting other important agreements were taken, such as the working plan, responsibilities of each partner, meetings placement, use of ICT tools, budget, and steering group composition.
