On February 6th, 14 colleagues from night different vocational colleges, along with two representatives from the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, embarked on an inspiring journey to the United States.
Our main objective was to participate in the Community College for International Development (CCID) 49th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., where our Danish team had the opportunity to share insights and experiences on the flourishing collaboration between Denmark and the USA.
Before the conference, we enriched our journey through job shadowing at several esteemed institutions, including Borough of Manhattan Community College, Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania, Temple University, Northern Virginia Community College, and Bartlett Tree Experts. These visits allowed us to explore the innovative educational systems, international initiatives, and dynamic teaching methods that define American community colleges.
Many of our partner organizations already exchange students and teachers, and we’re excited about the potential for even more groundbreaking collaborations.
