Since the last academic year, the Higher Degree in Livestock and Animal Health Assistance has been taught at the Moraleja Rural Environment Training Center (Cáceres). Within the different modules that are taught over the two years that this cycle lasts, our students dedicate several hours per week to learning horse management and dressage management. The center has its own facilities, such as the “Monteviejo” farm, of about 40 Hectares, in which, in addition to horses, other livestock species are raised. In addition, it has an agreement with the “El Espinel” farm, where there are facilities for horses and cattle raising, regulatory tracks for activities with horses, stables and boxes for the care and maintenance of them, bullring and open field for the rest and relaxation of horses.

In addition to the above, there are activities for the clearing, dressage and riding of horses in equestrian establishments in the Moraleja area. There are also visits to stud farms and horse fairs with national and international relevance.

Our goal is to obtain the greatest knowledge of the horse sector by students graduated from our center, providing them with practical and theoretical knowledge of the horse world.
