The Key Action 1 (KA1), Mobility of Individuals is aimed not only at students, but also at staff of education institutions and civil society organisations to undertake a learning and/or professional experience in another country.
Staff mobility for VET is intended to:
- teaching/training assignments: this activity allows staff of VET schools to teach at a partner VET school abroad. It also allows staff of enterprises to provide training at a VET organisation abroad.
- staff training: this activity supports the professional development of VET staff in the form of a work placement or a job shadowing/observation period abroad in an enterprise or any other VET organisation.
As a very good example of this, Judit Covic from Hungary has been awarded an EURASMUS+ mobility grant to teach in Spain for one month. So, during the last October the students of the CIFEA of Molina de Segura (agricultural vocational school) have enjoyed Judit’s teaching expertise, in the meantime the Hungarian teacher has improved her competences linked to their professional skills; has acquired broader understanding of practices, policies and the education system of Spain; has improved her Spanish language competences and has increased, for sure, her motivation and satisfaction in their daily work.
A true valuable experience!
