Between May 20-24, 2024, the 21st edition of the European Championship in Forestry Skills took place at the Bucovina Forestry College, being the first time that Romania organized such a huge international competition.
22 teams from 18 countries participated, 4 girls’ and 18 boys’ group. Romania was represented with boys from the Transylvania Forestry High School in Nasaud and with girls from the Bucovina Forestry College.
On the podium in the boys competition were teams from Austria, Germany and Romania and in the girls contest the ranking was occupied by Romania, Norway and Latvia.
Teams of five students from 18 countries, former students, members of the jury were in Bucovina for this contest representing over 200 participants. We congratulate the organizers for this huge logistical effort!
