Olustvere Marmelade and Jam Fair – 2025

Time: 20.09.2025 in Olustvere (at the same time with Ploughing Competition)
Rules
- The participant prepares either savory or sweet preserves.
- The participant marks his / her deposit(s) by writing on the note the name of the deposit, the name and place of the manufacturer (farm or village, rural municipality / city, county, school, etc.). Nice if the note is already designed at home. Those who have not done so can mark the deposit on site.
- The deposits are numbered by the organizers and according to them the visitors can evaluate the deposits as follows: salty deposits, sweet deposits.
- Visitors will be provided with cups and spoons for tasting by the organizers.
- If possible, the participant will bring reproduced recipes that can be distributed to visitors.
- The votes cast by visitors shall be counted by a three-member committee: 1 local representative, 1 voluntary and 1 on-site organizer.
- The 3 best salt cans, the 3 best sweet cans and the 3 ahha cans that have received the most votes from visitors will be rewarded.
- Jams must be brought with you, they cannot be made on site.
- The 6 fastest teams that register for the competition will be able to compete.
