Several Danish agricultural colleges offer “Farmer Camps” for youngsters in the age 12-17 during the summer holiday. Here kids are shown what agriculture is (also) about – and hopefully, some will return as students. Farmer camps include various activities related to the profession and life of farmers. It’s mainly hands-on experience, but with a “twist” to make it funny and engaging. After a few days, the kids go home fueled by new insight and a passion for farming.

Bygholm Agricultural College will receive 80 happy boys and girls from 31th of July to 3rd of August. You may find pictures and videos here (text in Danish).
