Ákos, 18 is a quiet young man. He does not talk much but lets his talent speak for him. He is a born rider. He grew up on a horse farm in Újkígyós, a remote town in South-East Hungary. Nowadays he is a student at the prestigious Alag Jockey Club in Dunakeszi, Pest County, and he also attends the Equestrian Studies Course at the EUROPEA school FM KASZK Vácimező.

He has quite a significant racing record at national and international level alike. That is why, he has recently been invited to represent Hungary at the Arabian Horse Racing World Series HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival! In January 2018 he got this magnificent chance to travel all the way to Muscat, Oman (!) with the Hungarian team and make himself –  and us – very proud: he came 3rd in the IFAHR Apprentice Race!

I had slight problems at the start – Ákos explains – but then, the horse I got was excellent and I tried my best. In the end I managed to climb the rostrum! At first, I did not realize it in the hustle and bustle of the finish but when the results came out I was very happy.

And so are we. What is more, we do believe that this is just the beginning. Ákos is certainly in for a great international riding career.

Go, Ákos, gogogo 😊!
