Although the Netherlands is a small country, we have many institutes offering green education. To channel our efforts abroad, we collaborate in (GreenPact), where the green industry and the government are also represented. Greenpact has a dedicated program for the acceleration of internationalisation. Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Greenpact and the Centre of Excellence for Agri-education in Bucharest Romania. This will facilitate future cooperation between Dutch and Romanian institutes. We have much in common, like an important agricultural sector and a decreasing interest in green education. We are also facing many similar challenges, like climate change, circularity and sustainability. The next months, Dutch institutes will be present in Romania to explore possibilities for further cooperation in the field of Animal Husbandry, Fruit culture, Urban Greening and rural development.
