During 2026, Europea-Spain will organise two national student championships among the 69 member schools spread across all regions of Spain. The first to be held will be the third edition of the national student forestry championship, which will take place at the CIFP school in Coca (Segovia) on 18, 19 and 20 February. This year, we have reached the maximum number of participating teams, set at 20. New for this edition will be a women’s competition with three teams. The organisation will host a total of 120 people, including students and teachers, and 14 companies will act as sponsors, including the two chainsaw manufacturers Stihl and Husqvarna.
Europa-Spain will also organise the first edition of the national Agrochallenge competition, which will be held at the CIFP school in Viñalta (Palencia). Eight teams have registered so far, but this number is expected to increase. This competition will take place during the last week of April.
The tasks to be performed by the students are the same as those that will be performed in the corresponding European championships, as after both competitions, Europea-Spain will put together teams with the best-ranked students to attend these competitions.
Europea-Spain hopes that all participants will enjoy the two events and that they will serve to motivate the students, enable them to meet other students from different regions and provide them with experiences they will never forget.
