It is with deep sorrow that we have to say goodbye to our dear colleague and beloved friend, Judit, whose boundless energy, unwavering dedication, and infectious enthusiasm left an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of working with her.

Judit became a part of the EUROPEA network – or as she always called it, her family- in 2011, and from the very beginning, she approached every challenge with passion and precision. She was not only hardworking but also an exceptional leader, always striving for excellence and inspiring those around her to do the same. Her organizational skills were unparalleled—whether planning meetings, launching new projects, or shaping the Editorial Group into a professional and dynamic team.

Her vision and drive were evident in every initiative she undertook. She saw potential where others saw limitations, always pushing boundaries to expand the reach and impact of EUROPEA. In 2017, she took a leading role in reorganizing the Editorial Group, ensuring that the network’s voice resonated across Europe. She encouraged creativity, innovation, and teamwork, fostering an environment where colleagues became friends. She was the heart of the team—the chickmum who led with both strength and kindness.

Judit’s dedication to EUROPEA Hungary was also truly remarkable. As a passionate volunteer, she worked tirelessly to strengthen and expand the network within Hungary, ensuring that more teachers, students, and institutions could benefit from its opportunities. She took every chance to promote EUROPEA’s mission, organizing events, facilitating collaborations, and encouraging new members to join. Her meticulous attention to detail and enthusiasm made her an invaluable pillar of the organization through which she not only helped EUROPEA Hungary grow but also ensured that Hungarian vocational education gained greater visibility and recognition on the international stage.

But beyond her professionalism, Judit was a source of joy. Her cheerful nature, quick wit, and warmth made every meeting memorable. She had a special talent for lifting spirits, even in the most intense discussions, often lightening the mood with laughter. Her humor, kindness, and genuine care for those around her made her not just a remarkable colleague but also a treasured friend.

We will forever miss her spirit, her wisdom, and her unwavering support. Her legacy will live on in the work she dedicated herself to, in the friendships she nurtured, and in the countless lives she touched.

Rest in peace, dearest Judit, we will never forget you.

P.S. The sign on the memorial bench says:

„But I fear no more the heat of the sun, nor the furious winter rages”,
In loving memory of Judit Čović (1964-2024)
Your legacy shall be cherished, your memory will live on in our hearts, and the tranquil peace of this place.
