This year, the Hollabrunn Agricultural College (LFS) took part in the school challenge “Running against cancer” with great commitment. Under the motto “My steps make a difference”, the school grounds and surrounding paths were transformed into a running track.
All pupils were highly motivated and covered a distance of 2.4 kilometers, sending a sporting signal of solidarity in the fight against cancer.
The parents’ association, under the leadership of chairwoman Elisabeth Schuch, also supported this running event and took part by paying the entry fee for the students. A large part of this entry fee goes directly to the stem cell donation initiative of the Austrian Red Cross and to cancer aid organizations in Lower Austria.
The event was a complete success – the atmosphere was exuberant and the motivation of all participants was clearly noticeable.
