2020 – a year that we will never forget but mostly for the wrong reasons. However, it’s been great year for Album releases. All hail those who post them on YouTube, and more so those who then buy a copy rather than ‘steal’. Personal Discovery of the Year, Shakra from Switzerland. Mad World is their 14th release, I’ve yet to hear a duff one amongst them.
Special Mentions to the triumphant return to recording of Blue Oyster Cult, Massive Wagons for keeping rock on mainstream radio in the UK and AC/DC for an album against the odds and those that keep the labels, magazines and web sites for rock alive and kicking.
