Dr. Szabó Gusztáv National Agricultural Machinery Professional Competition
East-Hungarian Agricultural Training Centre, Agricultural Vocational School and College of the Ministry of Agriculture organized jointly with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Szent István University of Gödöllő the 30th Dr. Szabó Gusztáv National Agricultural Machinery Professional Contest. This year’s jubilee competition will take place on 17-18 May 2019 in Jánoshalma, in which three-person teams of mechanical training schools measure their knowledge. The first Dr. Szabó Gusztáv contest was held in 1981 in Kiskunhalas, then from 1997, the competition moved to Jánoshalma. The organizers compile the announcement every year with care of traditions: the first competition conditions will be included in the current call.
This year, 15 teams will take part in the two-day contest, the students have to prove their skills in theoretical and practical competitions as well. There are tractor driving task, workshop, assembly, field work simulating task, verbal and written test sheet filling.
