EUROPEA Germany, EUROPEA Deutschland e.V. – Verein zur Förderung und Vernetzung der Agrarbildung

EUROPEA Germany is an association according to German law and has 15 members (dated: Oct 2016), mainly agricultural schools/colleges and several agricultural associations. The main purposes/tasks of EUROPEA Germany are:
- Representing Germany in EUROPEA International
- Supporting the work between German and European agricultural institutions on different levels of VET
- Working as an information and contact network in the green sector
- Supporting EU-projects, school partnerships and mobilities of students, apprentices, teachers and trainers.
EUROPEA Germany is led by a Board of 3 people, a chairman/national coordinator (presently Gerd Alscher), a deputy chairman (presently Rolf Hauser) and a cashier (presently Fritz Vogt). The Board is responsible for managing the association according to the statute and the decisions of the General Assembly. The General Assembly is held at least once a year.
