Seven students from four different countries – Austria, Hungary, Spain and Kosovo –arrived at Savonia University of Applied Sciences to take part in multicultural studies in the town of Iisalmi, Finland. MultiPro courses have a history at Savonia UAS as they have been organized for more than 10 years now.
During their stay, youngsters have learnt Agriculture in Global context, Green Care, Animal Husbandry, Research Methodology, Finnish Culture and a little of Finnish language, just to survive in daily situations. During winter holidays they went to Saariselkä and Rovaniemi to meet Santa Claus and see Aurora Borealis.
By visiting several companies together with Finnish teachers and students they were offered good opportunities to practice their English.
Now they are planning their final seminar for the next week before leaving to their home countries.
