For the first time in Latvia Bulduri Technical school has launched unique totally new and innovative program “Traditional wooden houses restoration”. Educational program is led by log building and timber framing Masters of Latvian Chamber of Crafts and it lasts 4 weeks or 200 hours. There are two target groups: 1) everyone who is willing to restore his own old family house- log building or timber framing, 2) professionals who are interested to specialize and work with old wooden houses restoration. Program is organized as practical workshop whe 
re participants not only acquire new skills in wooden construction and joints elaboration but together with Masters demolish an old log sauna and further at Bulduri laboratory realize its restoration. After program realization renovated log sauna will be brought back to its owner.
