Warsaw (PL), November 5-6, 2018: Kick-off Meeting of “Give New Life”

“Give new life to environmental and cultural heritage: revitalization of parks, undeveloped urban and rural areas” is a two-year Erasmus+ VET KA2 Strategic Partnership Project created by six partner institutions from Poland, Italy, Portugal, France and Estonia; three VET schools and three non-governmental organisations. The coordinator of the project is EUROPEA-Polska.

The aim of the project is to collect information about places in need of revitalization and to share the best practices about renewing them. Also, to develop innovative tools for VET staff and students, to increase professional development of VET teachers, trainers and mentors, to enrich partnership of VET providers and to support social and educational value of European cultural heritage.

Partners will create an E-Handbook and four virtual lessons, then do testing and dissemination for their own staff, students, partners and stakeholders. Partners will use the best methods of formal, non-formal and informal learning all the way through the project activities. The main result of the project will be the development of new competences of VET trainers and students.

The long-term benefit will be realised through creating several transnational networks involved in Green VET. They would facilitate working with cultural and environmental heritage and make it easier and more efficient.

EUROPEA wishes all the best to this new and exciting project!

Many thanks to Wiesia and EUROPEA-Polska 🙂
