Veterinary Assistant
We would like to introduce a new unique field of study at our Agricultural College and Secondary Agricultural School called Veterinary Assistant, which we are going to open since the school year 2021/2022.
The field of study is intended for graduates with a high school education with a school-leaving examination and aims to educate highly qualified veterinary specialists with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of animal husbandry and nutrition and veterinary prevention.
And at the same time with a broad perspective and practical skills in the field of veterinary diagnostics for farm, pet and wild animals. An integral part of the study is a six-month professional internship of students in the field directly in veterinary establishments, not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. Graduates of this field will have a wide application across the entire veterinary sector, because it is the veterinary workplaces that have long lacked such specialists on the labor market.
