Bulduri Technical school is the oldest vocational school in the region and only technical school in Latvia that has developed biotechnology center. Last few month have been busy. At the begining of January Bulduri Technical school teacher Gunta Jekabsone and Bulduri Biotechnology center manager Liva Purmale attended VertiFarm workshop in Italy (cost coverd by ERASMUS+ project 2023-1-LV01-KA122-VET-000137987). During this visit Liva reported the results on a ELFLA project Nr.22-00-A01612-000011 “Evaluation of In vitro and hydroponic techniques for strawberry plantlet production” as well as attended technical visits to Agricola Moderna and “Bosco Verticale”.
