Thanks to Stephanie Scully, Assistant Principal at Gurteen College for the update below- https://www.teagasc.ie/education/private-colleges/gurteen/

In October 2022, as part of #AgMentalHealth week, Gurteen College staff and students were invited to take time out of their day to come together for a one mile-walk through nature. The purpose was to emphasis the importance of taking time for ourselves, as well as time to enjoy one another’s company and talk about whatever may be on our minds.

As well as the walk, they invited past-student Bill Gleeson onsite to chat to their students about his own journey with mental health, the importance of talking to others and seeking help when needed. A huge thanks to Bill and the MACRA team at @makethemoove.ie for their input on these extremely important topics.
