As part of Erasmus+, Swedish and Dutch students have organized exciting trips for each other where they get to experience different tourist activities and wilderness life in each country. The students also receive training in hospitality and customer service. In October 2023, the Swedish students visited Lentiz MBO. Around three weeks ago, it was now our Swedish students’ at Grans turn to host visitors from Holland.

The stay lasted two weeks and was planned as part of the student work for the students in grade 3 taking Nature Tourism.

The visitors were taken on various winter activities, such as ice skating, ice fishing, “swimming” in 0 degrees celsius, dog sledding, snowmobiling, quad biking, visiting Storforsens Nature Reserve, cooking outdoors over an open fire, downhill skiing, etc.

Next year, the current grade 2 students will travel to Holland and Lentiz MBO again, and the Dutch student will come to Grans with their students in March 2025 again.Image00001 Image00002 Image00003 Image00004
