News from the Salesian Agricultural College in Pallaskenry, Limerick who deliver Teagasc programmes

Eight QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agriculture (Dairy Herd Management) students from Salesian Agricultural College, Pallaskenry are pictured in Dublin airport last weekend as they depart to New Zealand on their 16-week practical learning placement. Students on Teagasc programmes have the choice to complete their placements in Ireland or countries across the world with registered agencies.

Shane Curran who is a current QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agriculture (Agricultural Mechanisation) at the Salesian Agricultural College, Pallaskenry pictured at the recent International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) World Games in Portugal. Shane is pictured holding the Ireland banner and took third in the discus.

Photo 6. Agricultural and horticultural college have both football and hurling competitions throughout the year. Players from the Gaelic football match between Salesian Agricultural College, Pallaskenry students and students from Teagasc Clonakilty Agricultural College.
