In February 2925 I was lucky to do 5 days of job shadowing at the green vocational schools of La Palma and Tenerife together with 3 forestry teachers from Norway. We learned to know both schools, agricultural productions (bananas, avocados, mangoes+++) and nature management/forestry. It was different, it was wonderful, and it was interesting. Thank you for having us! We also found time to discuss future cooperation As teachers from far north in Europe we learned a lot, and we found our schools of agriculture and forestry to be both very different and very similar. By future collaboration between our schools we will definitely be able to broaden our students knowledge and understanding of how different climate and soil influence upon what we can grow and how we grow it. – But also to understand that the need for ecological understanding, knowledge and respect for nature and all living creatures are profound for all societies and all areas, weather situated south or north in Europe. This cooperation is possible because we learned to know each other through the network of # Europea international. Meeting each other in person is possible because of #Erasmuspluss. We are very grateful for both Thank you so much, dear colleagues of Escuela Agraria de Los Llanos de Aridane and Escuela de Capacitacion Agraria de Tacoronte.
