From 13-15 March 2026, Slovenia hosted t
he World Logging Championship, one of the most prestigious international competitions dedicated to forestry skills. The event took place over three days at the Šentjernej Hippodrome and combined two fields with long-standing traditions in the host country, forestry and agriculture. This year, the competition brings together the 111 best forestry workers from around the world from 24 countries, including Romania. The Romanian team was represented by former and current students from forestry high schools, Transilvania Forestry High School and Bucovina Forestry College and Transilvania Forestry High School.
