Latter on 12-13th of June Bulduri will host ERASMUS+ project Z-Farming (2022-1-SE02-KA210-YOU-0000881685) final event.
In January 2024 NGO EUROPEA LATVIA received confirmation from Erasmus+ program that a new Small-scale Partnerships project Veteran Trees: Train -the Trainers is approved. In frame od project Experts from Sweden, European Veteran tree certification VetCert developers, will realise trainings in Latvia to educate and prepare trainers in veteran tree management in Latvia. Project will be launched this spring, in total will be trained 38 professionals that further will realise one-day trainings in vocational schools, municipalities, tide organisations and institutions and to wider target audience like veteran tree owners. This is the first step toward European Certification of VetCert for professionals like arborists, landscape architects, biologs, and very significant one – for veteran tree conservation in Latvia and public education.
