Vocational schools have to increase their curriculum in sports lessons. At the agricultural training center INFORAMA, this is implemented by organizing a weeklong snow sports camp in Fiesch, a famous ski resort which boasts the largest glacier in the Alps and slopes at more than 2000 m.a.s.l. The camp offers third-year students different options in terms of skill level and snow sports activities. Downhill skiing is the favorite, but alternatives include snowboarding as well as a range of multisports (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or swimming). Students’ performances are marked on the last day of the week. During the evenings, students can choose from a gamut of program options from indoor-sports to cultural and social activities. Students enjoy this unusual setting thanks to good snow conditions, perfect weather and professional support.
