Citius, Altius, Fortius
At the end of August, about 100 people from 19 different EUROPEA network schools found their way to Portugal, to Póvoa de Varzim. The aim of the visit was participation in the 3rdAgrolympics.
Games started with the flag ceremony on the 29th of August. Every team started with the first task on the next morning. All together every team had to do 18 different agricultural tasks related to machinery, plants, calculations, logical thinking, quick action and teamwork. The winners were announced on 1st of September, at a special prize delivery ceremony. All participants were awarded with a special, Agrolympics medal.
The 3rd Agrolympics winners are:
1. Portugal
2. Serbia
3. Switzerland
Fair player’s cup was awarded by EUROPEA Editorial Group to Austria.
Before departure some of delegate members visited the famous city of Porto. Everybody admired the medieval and mesmerizing views of the old town and the sea.
These days were the happiest and enjoyable days to say goodbye to the summer! Thank you Agrolympics for bringing EUROPEA family together!
