Student competition in theoretical and practical agricultural disciplines was held at Agricultural College and Agricultural Secondary School in Benesov on 19th and 20th April 2018. 25 students of agricultural school from the Czech Republic compared their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in crop production, animal breeding, mechanization, economics and tractor driving as well.
Agroolympics for elementary schools pupils
The 1st year of Agroolympics for elementary school pupils was arranged at Agricultural College and Agricultural School in Benesov on 16th June 2018. Four-member-teams competed in ten disciplines that copied the branches of studies at our school: Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and Natural Science Lycée.
Project days for elementary schools pupils
At Agricultural College and Agricultural Secondary School in Benesov are regularly held a few project days for elementary schools pupils each school year. We would like to increase their interest in agricultural branches like Business in Agriculture, Equestrian Studies and Agricultural mechanization, Horticulture, Veterinary and natural sciences as well. They have opportunity to try hand milking, work in microbiological lab, floristic, some activities from animal breeding, veterinary, mechanization or gardening.
