In the framework of SYNHORTUS – a gardeners’ association between the Saarland (D), the Lorraine (F) and Luxemburg – students from the three regions met during two days in Gilsdorf (L) to participate in a joint project. They planted climbing plants on a retaining wall and various other shrubs along a sports field. They also started to build a dry stone wall on a slope. During the two days they worked very cooperatively and had the opportunity to exchange ideas and get to
know each other better during joint activities, such as a trail through the beautiful Mullerthal (“little Switzerland”), a visit to a castle or a delicious barbecue. The students as well as the teachers had a lot of fun together.
