CIFEA Lorca and the CRN for Livestock helped organise an event bringing together 11 schools, more than 50 companies and 20 organisations
CIFEA Lorca and National Reference Centre for Livestock helped organise the 4th Employment and Vocational Education and Training (VET) Fair, which brought hundreds of VET students from Lorca, Puerto Lumbreras, Águilas and Totana closer to the job market and gave them direct contact with local companies and institutions.
A key feature of this edition was its collaborative organisation. The fair was jointly coordinated by teachers of Personal Pathway to Employability (IPE) from several VET centres, including CIFEA, together with the Education Department of Lorca City Council. It involved 11 schools, more than 50 companies and 20 organisations linked to employment, entrepreneurship and training.
The day featured round tables, talks, career guidance and hands-on workshops, with the micro-interview workshop standing out for its realistic job interview simulations and personalised feedback. It reflects VET’s commitment to employability and to cooperation between schools, businesses and institutions.
