Wellantcollege participates in Erasmus+ KA2 project 4D Entrepreneurship (Dream, Dare, Design, Do), coordinated by Northern Regional College in the UK.  The purpose of the project is to strengthen our VET staff competencies in embedding Design Thinking in the curriculum and for VET students to apply Design Thinking methodologies to real-world challenges, and to innovate new ideas through Problem-Based-Learning thereby creating value from ideas – the very essence of entrepreneurship.

Recently the Dutch project team kicked off with a Design Thinking workshop, directed by expert Cor Noltee. Cor works at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) as education designer and lecturer in the field of art, design, creativity, and branding. He is also visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano and provides workshops, trainings, and lectures all around the world.

The Dutch project members worked on future challenge-based projects for mixed European student groups. The workshop also supported the development of a train-the-trainer program for all European project partners in Finland, Northern Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, and the Netherlands. It will be freely available once it’s finished. For more info click: HERE
