“Lipová ratolest” is a national competition for young gardeners inspired by the international WORLDSKILLS competition, which is a biennial showcase of winning teams who have demonstrated that they have the necessary knowledge and skills. One of the fields of competition is the implementation of urban landscaping.
Last year, the results of the competition contributed to the restoration of areas around apartment buildings in town Hodonín that were damaged during the 2021 tornado . The landscaping was carried out by teams of horticulture school students based on a design by landscape architects.
